Find your sense of wonder.
Choose the landscape first, then the experience: a crater view, forest trail, waterfall, or thermal afternoon. We’ll shape the route around your pace.
Visit estimates are planning allowances, excluding hotel transfers. Your proposal confirms the route, access, guides, and inclusions. Walking demands vary by the selected route.

Build the trip around your pace

Adventure in the morning.
Your kind of afternoon.
You do not need to fill every hour to make a trip memorable. We can pair a guided nature outing with a beautiful stay, a relaxed meal, or time to unwind.
Tell us how much walking feels good to you. We’ll shape your route around the experience—not the longest checklist.
A clear plan.
A trip that feels like you.
Tell us your vision.
Share your dates, interests, and preferred activity level.
Make it yours.
Review a personal route with stays, transfers, and chosen experiences.
Enjoy your escape.
Discover the landscapes you came for, with time to unwind.
Arrive prepared.
Enjoy the perspective.
Layers and good footing.
Wear closed-toe shoes with good grip and comfortable, quick-drying clothing. Pack a light rain jacket for every region, plus a warm layer for Poás and Irazú. For rainforest trails, bring spare socks and keep a dry change of clothes in your transfer vehicle.
The journey counts, too.
Keep a half or full day available depending on your hotel, trail, and other stops. Tell us if you prefer a short viewpoint visit or a longer forest walk. Your itinerary will show pickup time, expected walking time, meal stops, and the planned return—not just time inside the park.
Let conditions lead.
Clouds can hide a volcano and park access can change. We check visit arrangements before your outing and help you understand the alternatives.
Tell us what matters.
Share walking or mobility needs, children’s ages, and your interests. We’ll confirm appropriate access rather than assume every trail works for everyone.
Keep your day bag light.
Bring drinking water in a reusable bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent for forest areas, a hat, and a small waterproof pouch for your phone. Carry any personal essentials and the identification requested in your trip instructions. We’ll confirm park-specific bag and item rules before your visit.
Enjoy the day, well fed.
Have breakfast before an early pickup. Tell us about dietary needs so we can plan a suitable lunch stop and explain whether it is included or paid separately. Food rules vary by park; we’ll confirm what you can bring rather than assume you can picnic on the trail.
A little clarity.
A better escape.
Can we combine activities or choose a gentler day?
Yes. Choose a nature walk followed by hot springs, coffee and a crater viewpoint, or a cultural outing with scenic stops. We can also plan a more active day with tubing, ziplining, or longer trails. Your concierge checks travel times and participation requirements before combining activities.
Can we climb to the summit?
These experiences focus on permitted trails and viewpoints. A summit climb is not included or promised. Park closures and restricted areas must be respected.
Which volcano fits our trip best?
Arenal suits a multi-night stay; Poás and Irazú fit Central Valley outings; Rincón de la Vieja pairs with Guanacaste; Tenorio/Río Celeste adds rainforest and river adventures near Bijagua; and the Miravalles region pairs with a thermal-river stay at Río Perdido. We help you choose the right destination for your route, walking comfort, and available time.
Are tickets, guides, meals, and transportation included?
Your proposal will list exactly what is included. We confirm entry arrangements, guiding, transport, and any meals before you book; they are not automatically included in every outing.
What happens if clouds or park closures affect the visit?
Views are never guaranteed. We’ll explain the selected outing’s weather and cancellation terms and discuss suitable alternatives if access changes.
